Making compatible lights for LumenCache is a snap.  The Smart Interface Block (SIB) is simply an RJ45 connector to make installing the lights as easy as clicking in the tipped Cat5 wire. The LibRE Constant Current LED Driver is at the other end of the wire inserted into the PDM Port Socket–you do NOT include an AC LED Driver. There are several LibRE drivers to choose from: 150mA, 250mA, and 300mA all support LED Vf up to 48V.

Four of the pins on the RJ45 connector are used for Accessory power (Regulated 12Vdc) and a Data/Switch pair for communicating switch and sensor input signals back to the PDM Socket. These pins should always be run in parallel when you have more than one RJ45 jack on your fixture.

Lights requiring more than 15W can attach two SIBs.  Epoch (expected release 2016) will support 60W over a single Cat5 and has slightly more complex SIB requirements.

LumenCache LibRE Constant Current LED Drivers
