Making compatible lights for LumenCache is a snap. The Smart Interface Block (SIB) is simply an RJ45 connector to make installing the lights as easy as clicking in the tipped Cat5 wire. The LibRE Constant Current LED Driver is at the other end of the wire inserted into the PDM Port Socket–you do NOT include an AC LED Driver. There are several LibRE drivers to choose from: 150mA, 250mA, and 300mA all support LED Vf up to 48V.
Four of the pins on the RJ45 connector are used for Accessory power (Regulated 12Vdc) and a Data/Switch pair for communicating switch and sensor input signals back to the PDM Socket. These pins should always be run in parallel when you have more than one RJ45 jack on your fixture.
Each port supports up to 60W over a single Cat5.

Recommended Fixture LED Array Specifications
|LED Forward Current (If)||150mA, 250mA, 300mA||Models: L-CCB-A, L-CCB-B0250, L-CCB-B|
|LED Max Voltage (Vf_max)||48V DC||Array only when hot or cold should not exceed 48V.|
|Recommended LED Max Power||14.5W||Recommended LED max Vf_max (48V) limits Wmax to 300mA x 48V = 14.4W.|
Recommended Fixture Connections
|Under 24V LED Vf||Two RJ45 Jacks labelled “IN/PDM” and “NEXT/OUT”.
“END/LAST” Jumper or switch to select last LED.
|24V or higher LED Vf||Two RJ45 Jacks labelled “IN/PDM” and “NEXT/SWITCH”||Note 2|
|J-type (12V) multi-bulb fixture under 12W||Two RJ45 Jacks labelled “IN/PDM” and “NEXT/SWITCH”||Note 3|
|J-type (12V) multi-bulb fixture over 12W (LCbus wire)||Two RJ45 Jacks labelled “IN/PDM” and “SWITCH”
2 conductor screw/snap terminal for LED Power
LumenCache LibRE Constant Current LED Drivers
|Driver Vf_max||52V DC||Total Vf of array + wire drop. Driver will automatically reduce current at this limit.|
|Driver Headroom||Vin + 3V (13V-17.8V)||LED array Vf must be above 17.8V. Multiple LEDs may be run in series to achieve Vf_min.|
|Driver Power (Wmax)||15.6W||Total driver Vf is 300mA x 52V = 15.6W.|
|Dimming||Analog||Flicker-free dimming and no RF noise. The lower limit depends on LED array.|
Note 1: 12V Accessory Power and Data/Switch pairs are in parallel on each RJ45 jack.
Note 2: 12V Accessory Power and Data/Switch pairs are in parallel on each RJ45 jack. LED Power stops at IN/PDM Jack.
Note 3: 12V Accessory Power, Data/Switch pairs, and LED Power are all in parallel on RJ45 jacks.
Note 4: 12V Accessory Power, Data/Switch pairs, and LED Power (not used) are all in parallel on RJ45 jacks.
